Parsonspecialen 2026 – Domarpresentation

Domarpresentation:

I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but I really stepped into the show world back in 1987 when I got my first Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Terriers were always part of the picture too, right up until recently when I lost my last one.

I started out with a Jack Russell Terrier alongside the Ridgebacks, and when she passed, I brought home my first Parson Russell Terrier from the late Barry Jones.

That was Hoelio Holly—my foundation girl—who went on to produce Ch, Ir, Int Ch Kylini Phoenix from a repeat mating to Ch Mindlen Hoolet of Muhlross.

Breeding has given me some incredible moments, especially with my once‑in‑a‑lifetime dog, Ch, Ir, Int Ch Kylini Celtic Wizzard JW, WW02, AN CH04.

He won Best of Breed at the World Show in Amsterdam in 2002, which was actually my first time showing abroad.

He also picked up three of his many CCs at Crufts, which was a thrill.

I started judging in 1992, beginning with my own breeds and eventually expanding to all hounds and terriers.

I’ve always tried to learn as much as I can about correct construction and movement—it’s something I never get tired of.

I honestly can’t imagine life without my Parsons now, and I’m really looking forward to seeing all your lovely dogs and meeting new friends along the way.
